EY receives funding from Yorkshire Forward and European Union ERDF. It is a not for profit company with a board of directors, drawn from the region's electronics industry, who serve on an independent non-executive basis.

EY's aim is to support and assist the growth of the electronics sector through training, technical support and networking.
