Discounted Legal Services

Shulmans is delighted to provide a range of select benefits to Electronics Yorkshire’s members from across the full range of their services dedicated to assisting businesses in and around the electronics sector.

Drop In Service

One of our solicitors will be available on the morning of the first Monday of each month at Electronics Yorkshire to answer any legal questions you may have. If you have any questions or issues you would like to discuss with us without charge, please contact Sue Collomosse on 0113 297 3771 to arrange a booking for the service.

Help Line

All members have free access to our 24-hour emergency helpline (telephone 07917 123653), which provides immediate access to one of the solicitors within our regulatory services team.  You will be guided through the minefield of legislation, regulation and procedures which apply to the situation. The helpline covers matters such as Health & Safety, COSHH, WEEE, regulatory and police interviews, inquests and corporate manslaughter, directors' risks and liabilities and white collar crime.

Regulatory Health Check

All full members have the offer of a free of charge regulatory health check. One of our regulatory services team would spend time with you to go through the regulatory issues that may apply to your business. Typically the health check would only require approximately one hour of your time.

Member Discounts

Any additional services provided to full members would have the benefit of a 20 percent discount over the best rates we apply (generally reserved for long standing clients). This discount would apply across the board and includes work normally undertaken for a fixed price.

Associate and Support members will also have the benefit of a best rate discount; however, this is limited to 10 percent.
