The EMC clock is ticking [to July 09+] Are you ready?
In July the new Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Regulations are fully implemented and electronics/electrical equipment manufacturers will need updated DoCs, Technical Documentation and user information: are yours in place?
York EMC Services would like to invite all Electronics Yorkshire members to the next Yorkshire EMC & Compliance Club event, taking place on 21st April at Electronics Yorkshire’s centre, Airedale House, West Park Leeds, to address these issues.
The Yorkshire EMC and Compliance Club has now been running for over 15 years and intends to continue to be one of the most active and successful EMC and compliance clubs in the UK. With this in mind the Club is offering FREE day membership to all Electronics Yorkshire members (usual price £70 + VAT).
In addition to EMC we will be giving an update on the LV and R&TTE Directive and the supporting standards. They are also inviting members of the EMCIA to come along and exhibit their services and products.
A networking lunch is included and you will also have the opportunity to raise any EMC, LVD or R&TTE issues you may have with the team from York EMC Services.
