Electronics Yorkshire working in partnership with The Purchasing Agency
Electronics Yorkshire has entered into a partnership with The Purchasing Agency to
enable companies to benefit from a group purchasing scheme providing access to a range
of goods and services with the potential to make substantial savings.
Prior to the Collective Purchasing Scheme’s official launch, Electronics Yorkshire and The Purchasing Agency jointly carried out a pilot with a small number of selected full member companies and significant savings have already been identified. Examples of these are detailed below:
- "An initial review of our fixed line telecoms produced an impressive saving of 51% for our local and national calls and 45% on our fixed to mobile calls. In addition we achieved a 38% reduction on our photocopying paper. This service is delivered free to full members of Electronics Yorkshire. Full membership fees are based on company size:
1 – 5 £175pa
6 – 15 £275pa
16 – 50 £375pa
51+ £475pa
The service is also open to non-members at a cost of £495 per annum.
