Training Evaluation

As part of the Electronics Yorkshire Network Services for Members we underscore our commitment to your training needs by presenting our Training Liaison Officer, Sheila Carr.

Sheila is a 30-year ‘veteran’ of the electronics industry, with much of that time being dedicated to her role as a training professional.

Starting her career at Baird Television in 1974 and working through all aspects of assembly, testing, training and supervision, she moved into quality audit, standards control and design. The early development of surface mount technology took Sheila further down the track of industry specific training, and the setting up and control of early BSI regimens with Coe Ltd. Sheila qualified as a BSI Internal/External Auditor and brought all of this experience to bear as Production Manager.

Since then, apart from taking time out to raise a family, Sheila has set up in-company training schools, written and developed training packages, and advised manufacturers on best practices.

A qualified IPC Instructor and NVQ Assessor, Sheila is ready, willing and able to place her wealth of experience in Electronics Manufacturing and Training at your disposal.
